Ordering Tickets the week before the show, the ladies in the ticket office gave a very warm welcome and were extremely helpful. Inside the theatre staff ushered us to our seats, where we sat during a very good performance of Aladdin. (During intervals more toilets required due to numbers - however still a very good venue for a pantomime)

The standard of the theatre is maintained and clean and I've seen some improvements over the years especially in reception. The bar needs improvements and bringing up to date especially with the prices and I always feel like the staff don't know what's happening.

Good view from the circle but it is quite high compared to some others I have been in. I think the venue could advise on parking a little better. There was a good interval bar service but luckily drinks could be taken into thauditorium as the bar was freezing cold. Old style toilets also resulted in two ladies almost being... More

Well worth a visit. An excellent little theatre. I have seen three different productions in the last six months and each one has been outstanding. Most recent being Twopence To Cross the Mersey, brilliant performance. The productions they put on are very reasonably priced compared to Manchester and Liverpool.

The theatre itself is badly in need of refurbishment. However, I will definitely go again because the standard of the performance of this play was outstanding. The stage set was ingenious and the characterisation by the players was faultless. I really enjoyed myself and consider this theatre something of a find. I

This is quite a nice little theatre. It's a bit shabby but otherwise ok. The production we went to see was good and we enjoyed it. The cost of sweets, drinks and ice cream was extortionate. Nothing more than daylight robbery. 3 x small ice cream tubs = £7.50 1 Fanta orange, 2 small peanuts & 1 pkt Werthers =... More

Took my granddaughters to see the wizard of Oz! It's a lovely old theatre but had some modernisation, it's not to big so you get a good View from all around the theatre! It also has comfy seats! Right opposite the bus station so ideal for public transport and plenty of car parks very close within walking distance!

Went here on Saturday to watch Chubby, nice little theatre comfy seats etc.. Think they need to be a bit more careful how they manage the place though as not once was I asked for my ticket, I just walked straight in! Also beverages a bit on the high side, would probably benefit from having some beer on draught rather... More

It used to be a little dingy in there but there was a lot of money well spent in doing it up and it's great. Cosy but decent capacity, comfy chairs and drinks/snacks not too extortionate. There's also a variety of productions to suit every taste.
