After a longish journey with the help of our Sat Nav we were rewarded by the sight of this amazing building through some magnificent trees. The building itself is partly ruined though there are rooms and staircases in tact. We were provided with free audio...More

What a beautiful place this is. Very friendly lady on the reception desk (Sat 12.5.18) entry was £7.50 for an adult & £6.80 for OAP. Car park is free. And there's a free audio tour. The gardens are stunning, so beautifully restored. The house would...More

This is very much a house for architectural students or history buffs as there is not a huge amount here. Having said that it is peaceful, and a wonderful place to get away from it all.

If you have an imagination Kirby Hall will be a magical treat. It maybe rather delapidated in places but it is still Spellbinding. The gardens are also lovely. You probably won’t spend more than 40 minutes here, but they’re minutes you’ll never forget.

An excellent place to visit if you enjoy letting you mind wander. There's enough that has been renovated to give you a taste of how it used to be, but with the rest, just stand and imagine.

Wonderful place, haunting on a cold winter day. Would recommend the audio tour. Staff very knowledgeable about the building too.

Such a lovely experience, beautiful building. The garden is even better - been to visit many times in summer. Everytime a fantastic experience.

Sunday afternoon visit, wasn't exactly sure what there was to see, despite living nearby. Beautiful ruined house and restored gardens, early grand tour property, sadly ravaged by time. The restoration work is ongoing, fantastic commentary to take round the house and gardens lasting approximately an...More
