I went for an evening walk with friends along the river towards Langlands. Good paths. Effective signs. Very popular with dog walkers.

Lots of free parking as you arrive - a good start. The zoo section is an excellent place to visit - as are the outdoor play areas - but today we skipped all that for a walk down to the river. Trees, running water, sunshine,...More

We arrived this week with 17 teenagers with additional support needs for a morning visit. The cafe is shut for refurbishment so there was very little comfort on a cold, wet morning. Not impressed.

Whether you are walking solo with a dog, or taking your kids / grandkids, there’s something to do for all ages! Worth a visit. There’s a small petting zoo too and a cafe

I have been coming to Calderglen for many years and it remains a firm favourite for a nice walk or day out with the family. Castle is pretty as is the glen itself and the children's play park and zoo are also excellent.
