Heaving for St Patrick's Day. Lively little resort, they shut the roads for the St Patrick day parties.

Not a place to go unless u want to buy something illegal or your 15. Not a nice place to visit although during the day it's ok and there are a few nice restaurants but at night you see the other darker side of it with lots of seedy pole dancing clubs and Chinese massage parlours

Loved youthful Paceville! Many great restaurants and taverns to try and a great place to just wander and discover.

Malta is renowned as a center where, particularly youngsters, come to learn English in one of our many language schools. Paceville is a meeting place for these youngsters, where many nationalities and cultures meet. The place is full of bars and places of entertainment which makes it more appealing to young people.

If you are into nightlife, bars, discos, Paceville is your place! A lot of bars, some restaurants (I wouldn't dine there, especially in the evening), nightclubs, discos and "gentlemen only" clubs (you know what I mean). At midday you can walk around; early in the morning the area is full of drunk young people, some of them puking, some in... More

Like the title says just can't make out the place plenty of restaurants and a night life area for younger ones including gentlemen clubs but there just seems something missing it's not you Greece or Spanish resorts which is a good thing it at a much slower pace in paceville/st Julian's but that seemed Malta all over.

Ok by day, fairly quiet but at night the neon gets switched on and numerous women touch and invite you into their 'businesses'. Ominous crowds of Eastern Europeans on the streets as well, making it feel very uneasy for all. Odd. As you get to the end by the bay, the upscale hotels start but would definitely avoid after dark.

I will admit that I'm well over the average age of the 18 to 20- somethings who frequent this area, and I was also looking for quaint Maltese charm, not a mini Ibiza, so my impressions of Paceville were not exactly glowing. Walking through this area is a depressing trawl past one bar promoting binge drinking after another. There is... More
