At The Margaret River Chocolate Company we're mad about chocolate! With factories in both the Margaret River and Swan Valley wine regions of Western Australia and a concept store in Perth City, we have been making award-winning chocolate products since 1999.

All three sites provide a fascinating insight into the world of chocolate, with free chocolate tastings and interactive displays, with the two factories also providing viewing windows to watch the chocolate products being made.

The Margaret River Chocolate Company makes and sells a mouth-watering range of chocolate bars, chocolate coated delights, hand made truffles, novelty chocolates, chocolate sauces and much more.

Both chocolate factories are open from 9am-5pm every day of the year except Christmas Day, while trading hours at the Perth City store mirror those of other city-based retailers.

Visited this place as a lover of good chocolate. Was not disappointed. Well set out plenty to see and try. On entry there were huge bowls of white, milk and dark drops to try for free. All bags of chocolates can be tried also. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rockyroad, dark ginger, peanut brittle, licorice all went home, AWSOME

So much chocolate!! Definitely worth a visit. There are bowls of free chocolate drop samples when you first enter so you can wander around eating chocolate while deciding what to buy. Small cafe, didn't try but looked good. Viewing window to see chocolate being made. Very popular and quite busy.

We visited the factory on Tuesday14th morning. When I went up to pay for several items at the counter the chap with a UK accent and the chap from the cafe were having a conversation! Not once did the staff member acknowledge me ! speak to me ! Make eye contact! all the way thru the transaction! They just carried... More

Take the free chocolate and run! Seriously though, the chocolate is great, but ignore the cafe. The coffee was awful and the food average at best.

We simply can't come down to the region without at least one visit the the Chocolate Factory. The staff are always friendly and helpful We regularly grab a tin of cocoa powder to take home for family chocolate cakes, and we always take a bag or three of the Redgum Honey Crunch! On warm days we love an ice cream...

It was reasonably busy on entry. People were scooping samples of the chocolate pebbles to their hearts content. I am a bit dark chocolate and their selection was much too sweet for my liking. I picked up a bar of their dark chocolate and the percentage was not shown. We almost bought the Tanzanian 73% but decided not to purely... More

So much tasty goodness! I had to stop myself from sampling everything - the dairy caramels and the milk coffee mocha were my favourites.

We called in here on a trip around the Margaret River region - and it had come highly recommended. It was mid morning so we managed a cup of coffee accompanied by scones, cream and passion fruit curd, and the lightest, yummiest chocolate mousse that I can remember. You could also buy lots of different chocolates and watch them being... More
