    Great swimming complex
Spent an afternoon here with our children. Despite if being a Saturday afternoon and busy it didn't feel too crowded. The service at reception was good explaining what we could use, times etc. Entrance price is quite steep - we spent about 3 hrs but could have stayed longer. The changing rooms were split by gender were spacious clean and warm, with a sauna. The swimming pool area and waters were really nice and warm (pleasant surprise compared to some swimming pools in England!) there was a range of activities, jacuzzis, slides etc. They were all great and we had lots of fun. There is a cafe and burger place poolside so you could spend the day here and for an extra charge there is an adult spa section (we didn't use this as were with our kids). It was a great way to spend an afternoon.

    Nice spa but crowded
Visited the SPA during a weekend and the place was too full to enjoy it: we had to queue to get in, queue to have a sauna and there was not much space in swimming pools either. Also, not all showers worked properly. I would recommend going there when it's not crowded, as it has some nice pools and saunas.

Adult spa very nice, massage poor quality
A lot of families and children generally and in the weekends more. Luckily there is adult spa area. Steam sauna does not have power enough, it was cold there, second time to me. Massage was also already second time a disappointment for me; it was only oil applying to the skin, no power in the massage. Big disappointment and costing a lot. I feel a bit uncomfortable there because floors are covered by water in the dressing room, toilets and shower areas. That is why own slippers are good to have. Also no more cloth to the sauna bench offered, you have to bring it by yourself (for nature saving reasons).

We enjoyed our trip. There was enough to do for the whole family. The teens particularly enjoyed the water slides and drops. The spa experience was also very good, with the highlight being the ice pool.

It is a good idea that you can use the fobs for payments, but it is easy to rack up a big bill. Also, please be aware that the changing rooms are public, and there is little to no privacy, which embarrassed the teens.

The showers were difficult to operate and a few were broken, but overall it was a good experience.

I have visited here couple of times. Once to get a massage and twice to swim and enjoy the adults section. Massage was fine, but as the instructions were unclear about where to go wait for your turn and it was really hard to find the masseur, so the massage was cut short because of that.

Both times I have been here to swim the pools have been too packed to actually swim. It's understandable, since this is actually really small place. But if you want to swim and not just be still in the pool, this is not the best place. The waterslides are OK.

Lockerrooms were in OK condition, but the womens showers... I tried 4 different showers and first 3 were all broken. In adults section there was only 3 pools, so the place was also packed.

I think this is too expensive place for it's quality.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, STAY AWAY!!!

The strong chlorine made my eyes burn, screaming kids made it hard to relax, and I couldn't enjoy the men's sauna area because young FEMALE cleaners kept coming in -- and they DID look at our nude bodies while we showered. I thought this was totally inappropriate and some of the other guys didn't like it either. But when I pointed this out to management, they didn't seem to care. I realize this is common in Finland, but it's not fair to male guests and needs to end immediately. Imagine if male cleaners mopped around nude women and girls while they showered... they'd be furious!

SERENA is a much better water park and has a huge and really fun outdoor area that's open in the summer. They also had a male cleaner in the men's shower area, which I really appreciated. So, I recommend skipping Flamingo Spa and going to SERENA instead.

Relaxing quiet oasis of Adult only pools and sauna. Great fun for the kids, they can find many things to entertain themselves from playing water polo to the two main water slides, one in which you use a rubber ring to navigate, to a couple of smaller water slides and splashes. Fairly expensive though but no one forces you to use the Adult only area.

Outrageous! Or how a day can be ruined.

Long story short:
I took two 12 years old boys swimming here by themselves.
I bought them the tickets and *nothing was said to me nor the boys that they had issued a time limit for the swimming with monetary penalty*.

After the swimming when i picked up the boys from the parking garage they told me they were froced to pay some penalty.

They made small kids, who obviously can't stand for themselves yet pay money for things uninformed!

It's in anybodys own sense of justice whether they should have told about that penalty beforehand. I think 100% that they should have.

So i reached out to the customer service and their response was cold. Like: next time do your homework, it's all in the web, and yea it should be informed at the register but we don't know for sure whether it was infofmed so...

Nothing was given as compensation.
Just basically "we don't need one family as customer, there's the door".

It's the small things that makes or breaks the experience. Mine was sadly an expensive and cr*ppy one.

After several messages with the customer service i gave up. They won.
They took money from my childrens pocket(figuratively).

Obviously i reimbursed the boys but i can't help but feel violated.

So i strongly suggest that you steer clear of this place where the customer is always wrong.

Great little day out!

My son enjoyed every moment there and so did everyone else looking round.

Went on a Monday from 11.30am - 3.30pm. 4 hours was more than enough time in there but used every minute. Wasn't so busy which was great for us.

Went to the cafe for a quick bowl of chips and slushie. Pricing was alright I'd say, considering you're at a spa.

We enjoyed the waterslides and all the floats. The whirlpool was pretty cool too. Hard to get out of once in though but fun!

Only downside and the reason it gets a 4/5 is because there were Africans in there who were using their phones to take pics and videos. Which I personally feel uncomfortable with when my son is using the pool at the same time. I can't imagine too many parents would be happy either. Phones should be strictly prohibited.

But will be back another day.

Such a relaxing experience. Went here on a Tuesday night and enjoyed the different saunas, pools as well as an aromatic massage and mud bath. Felt like a king afterwards. The place was clean and not crowded at all. As usual in Finland, drink prices were outrageous though.

Went early 11am - 1pm on a Tuesday which was excellent, not overcrowded even though it was during a school holiday week in Finland. Booked tickets online in advance to the adults only -spa complex ; this ticket (29e visit for one adult, via online booking) also gives you access to the Waterpark side, but that was quite crowded and clearly just meant for kids, there's absolutely no space to SWIM if you'd like to stretch out a bit in between spa-treatments.
Overall was positively surprised by the serenity of the adult spa area, quiet relaxation-music in the background and all, really felt like they've put some thought into designing this place. Also, warm water in both (2) pools , one is called Mineral Water Pool and is a bit more suitable for swimming (if there's space), measures approx 25m x 10m x 1,5m deep ; other pool is downstairs next to sauna-areas (& don't worry, you are required to wear a swimsuit here, so no Finnish sauna nakedness ) and is perfect for relaxing , very warm water, but defo cannot swim in it, being about 0,5m deep (max). Bring a bathrobe or big towel with you, if you're not comfortable walking around in your swimsuit only.
What I missed as an athlete was these massaging water pressure - showers , kind of expected them to be featured here, usually are in every spa/big swimming hall I've visited, but guess there was no space for them here (which is kinda odd since they've built 2 different bars here, but left no space for a hot tub etc. water pressure muscle relaxation -stuff).
Overall I'd very much recommend this place as a day spa for adults. Also, great access from Helsinki via I- or P- trains, from Aviapolis train station take the bus for a few stops to Flamingo , or you can walk (or bicycle) from the train station easily in 25min. , straight road via Tikkurilantie and Rälssitie (check from Google Maps).

At the reception we were given a wrong information that spa closes at 21.00, but in the reality all swimming pools close at 20.30.
The experience was quite spoiled, because at 20.30 we were asked in a very insisting manner to leave immediately and they didn’t allow us to stay 10 min more.
At the checkout the guy didn’t even apologize for giving us the wrong information on opening hours.
Bad service, guys!
