One of the largest waterfalls in Sweeden. Compared to the mighty waterfalls in Norway, it is not very impressive. However, it is quite lovely, and easy to hike along the waterfall. Several photo spots, and more or less guaranteed a rainbow on a sunny day....More

Cool place to go to watch nature roar! We packed a picnic and ate by the waterfall, really nice. There is a small 'museum'/shop with lots of souvenirs to buy and also a restaurant. Good parking!

Sweden's largest waterfall, albeit modest when compared to waterfalls in Norway. Close to the waterfall you will find a tourist station that offers both food and coffee. The high humidity makes it possible to find different types of plants that are different for the landscape.Even beautiful...More

This waterfall is quite something, the carpark (the only thing that has a charge) is only a short walk from the top of the waterfall. It has brilliant accessibility & great viewing points. A must see if you are in the area.

This place is a great spot on some many levels. The waterfall is amazing, the grounds & trail system leading up to the waterfall is entertaining, informative and educational, but what I thought was a real surprise is the gift shop and cafe / restaurant...More

Worth a visit any time and the waterfall is ever changing due to seasons. Service is never free but here its reasonable. Café, shop & restaurant openings will be found on website.

This place is just amazing. This is a must! From the place you park to the waterfalls it is a really short walk but it is slippery, depending on the weather. I highly recommend this beautiful place. You will absolutely enjoy this visit.

Worth the drive for ski tired legs. Quite interesting to see & quite ferocious, certainly wouldn't want to fall in there. The bridge out to it was a challenge on slippery ice! Be very carefull.

Been here a couple of times and i think you should definitely go here if your heading to Åre or Norway. You can park the car around 500-1000meters from the fall and you must try the waffle with cloudberry at the cafe.

We visited this waterfall while skiing in Are, Sweden (it's 15km down the road). The waterfall itself is magnificent - partly frozen at this time of the year but foaming with the recent meltwaters. It is also in a lovely wooded setting, however, when we...More
