Paddle your way along the pristine Daintree National Park coastline taking a break or two to eat your freshly prepared tropical fare. Spend the rest of the kayak admiring the fabulous views of the Daintree coastline from the water, snorkelling the fringing reefs or just paddling along. There is no better way to search for turtles, dolphins and a myriad of other sealife, maybe even whales - come on in the waters fine! We are based at Crocodylus Village Cow Bay, just north of the Daintree River Ferry.

We had the luxury of being the only couple on the sunrise kayak midweek which was great as we had our guide all to ourselves. Guy was fantastic and gave us a real insight into Daintree and life for the locals. The kayaking was easy and we saw some turtles out at the rocks.

We made it to the Daintree Crocodylus village just as our guide was walking to his truck. Gary was happy to see us and gave my wife and I lift down the road to the beach. There, we helped him unload the kayaks and had a quick safety briefing before heading out onto the water. We had a beautiful morning... More

We had a wonderful sunset experience that I couldn't rate more highly. We gently paddled out from the beach and then around the bay at a perfect pace. Our host kindly helped me with my kayaking skills (which were a bit basic!) and showed an indepth knowledge of the whole area, including the birdlife and fishing. Watching the light change... More

Gettin up at dawn in the rain forest may not seem like much fun...in August its damp and even quite chilly......but as soon as the suns rays hit the ground, there you are on the beach becoming a kayaker, without quite knowing how you got there. This is a great experience - Take to the sea in your little craft... More

We did so many things during our stay at Crocdylus village that it is very hard to choose the best one, but I think the early morning kayak is probably it! Our large group of family and friends woke up shortly after five to go down to Cow Bay for the sunrise paddle. It was cold and we weren't at... More

We took our two sons on this adventure. Difficult to get them up at 0530 but SO worth it! We met our guide at the beach and kayaked along the coast. After about an hour we had breakfast at Coral Cove, only reachable by sea - fresh fruit, coffee and carrot cake. We wandered and learned about the rainforest etc.... More

As we raced from Port Douglas in order to make the first Daintree river crossing of the day, I was wondering if it would be worth the effort....well, question answered; unequivocably absolutely! Our trip leader, Steve quickly introduced us to the basics of kayaking and kept us uptodate on where we were and what we were seeing, eagles,sea-going pigeons, turtles,... More

Meeting at 6.15am at Crocodylus Village, we made our way to the beach at Cow Bay. Steve was a Great guide. Very funny and enthusiastic! On the way we partnered up in kayaks, then we made our way to the Daintree Beach. We saw turtles, dolphins, a shoal (big bunch) of fish which we kayaked over. Plus we kayaked over... More

When we woke up at 5am in the morning, it was dark, raining and a little windy. My husband and I were a little apprehensive about what we had gotten ourselves into as we have never sea kayaked before and one of us doesn't even swim properly! However our guide was so patient and friendly! After launching us into the... More

Great trip, the best way to see the forest is from the water. Steve was fantastic, took us to beaches with no access other than by the water. Lots of wildlife as well. The water was crystal clear and great for a swim. There's something special about eating locally sourced tropical fruit on a beach with no human footprints other... More
