Took my little boy who is two for a run around. The ruins of the abbey are lovely and we had so much fun playin together. Lots of little hiding places which made this even more fun.

A beautiful place to cycle with the kids (9 and 3) from Richmond Station as it’s traffic free and flat (discussed railway). The abbey also has a good area for the kids to have a run around.

Easby Abbey was a nice walk. I really wouldn't go out of my way to see it as there is really not much left. But if in the Richmond area. take a self tour and relax at Easby

Done this walk many times over the last 9 years, just a pleasant walk from the station in Richmond. Always enjoy looking around the ruins. Wish I lived nearer and could go more often. Very flat and suitable for pushchairs and bikes. Even the little...More

Great walk along the river from Richmond. Useful information boards. Very quiet and peaceful when we visited. Don't miss a visit to the church nearby.

We reached the abbey via a lovely circular walk starting from Richmond station. Easy walking paths and lovely peaceful surroundings. The scale of the ruins is very impressive.

Yes the abbey is just a couple of minutes walk from Howe Villa, which is a very striking building with huge windows as I recall.
