Gorgeous Church not far from the Castle
Sep 2020
The Corpus Christi chapel in Nesvizh, a short walk away from the castle, is a rare example of baroque architecture in Belarus and totally worth the stroll. Admission is free, but the church employee will ask you to make a donation, especially if you wish to take pictures (without flash!). The interior is stunning. The exterior is also lovely, but somewhat difficult to view due to ongoing renovation.

Beautiful church
Aug 2019
It's right next to the Nesvizh Castle. Good to stop by and check it out. It's under renovation but you can still go inside.

So many churches
Aug 2019 • Couples
So many churches. Their memories come together. Corpus Christi is near Nesvizh Castle and therefore nicely pairs with the castle.

Worth a Stop-Magnificent Baroque Church
Jul 2019 • Friends
This is one of the oldest Baroque Style Churches in Central Europe outside of Italy. Was supported by the Radziwill Family who built it with a Jesuit congregation. Two family members are buried there, and they also owned the nearby Nesvizh Castle. Filled with frescoes that we’re preserved thanks to the local priest who hid the artifacts during wars and communist regimes. It is being reconstructed, the inside is in excellent shape but the outside still has scaffolds and has a way to go. Do not miss the beautiful painting in the altar with a unique perspective of the last supper and notice the shadow on Judas who ultimately betrayed Jesus.

The oldest church in Europe in Baroque style
Aug 2018 • Couples
Very nice frescoes inside. Unfortunately, you can only take pictures, if you give a small tip to the lady that is there. Still worth to go inside and admire the beauty.

Frescoes create a sensory overload!
May 2018 • Couples
Also known as the Farny Church, or Jesuit Catholic Church, this large and somber edifice, was built between 1584-1593 in early Baroque style, its white facade splendidly proportioned. It is one of the oldest Baroque structures outside of Italy.

The interior walls are adorned with Italian style frescoes, and appear to cover every surface. There are so many, they are so detailed and colorful, that it becomes a sensory overload! One hardly knows where to look. A large painting of the Last Supper hangs in the apse at the main altar.

It is unfortunate that photos are not allowed because it is impossible to remember even a small portion of this magnificent interior.

The oldest baroque church in central Europe

An important place. The Radziwill family were Catholic and this was a Jesuit foundation. The baroque interior is original and incudes two Radziwill family memorials.

It is close to the entrance to the causeway which takes you to the palace and you have to park close to the church anyway. Don't walk past, have a look around inside and it will give you a good introduction to the the family.

Visitors are made welcome.

Beautiful church
Apr 2017 • Solo
This church is in baroque style and very attractive.
It is in an Italian style because the architect was an Italian.
When I visited the church has some parts in very good condition because of recent works.

A lovely church but internal photos are not allowed
Oct 2017 • Friends
A lovely church (italian sytle with a slavic twist) but unfortunately internal photograhy is not allowed, which is a real pity as I doubt that those without flash would harm anything. Also the inside is more interesting and prettier than the outside. Still you can buy some pretty cheap post cards and a small English language guide from the stall just inside the entrance to explain things.

Classically decorated Catholic church which is undergoing refurbishment. A very interesting feature is the crypt with the coffins of the local dignataries.

If on a tour of the castle this is really worth going to visit as only 50m from the castle entrance gates.

So much history in here because of the various regeimes that the area has been under. My visit was not really long enough to see it all properly.
