Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

I can't say enough great things about Rosemary Beach! It is breath taking and not nearly as crowded as the other beaches. The sand is beautiful and sugar white and the subsets are certainly heavenly. Apparently you can rent umbrellas and chairs, but we visited in the evening to watch the sunset and missed all of the offerings. We will... More

My favorite spot on 30A. Very relaxing. Beautiful beach. Lots of outdoor activities: walking, shopping, biking, dining, open air markets, tennis, lawn games etc. beautiful sunsets.

This little town is so amazing! Lovely buildings and shops, a farmer's market in the greenspace during certain days or times of year. (But it was super busy and hard to find parking, so we parked beyond it in Aly beach and rode bikes back.) There is a bike trail that starts in Rosemary Beach that goes all the way... More

We went on a Sunday and there was such a beautiful farmers market (sunday 9-1pm). The community is so beautiful and everyone was so friendly. We traveled on bike and it was such a pleasure to do so. It was safe and we could see everything at a more detailed view.

Our first visit was April 2017, for Spring Break. We hadn't been to a beach in years, and never taken our girls as they had no interest in the sand and surf (just swimming pools). We were so pleasantly surprised! This area is filled with things for everyone to do! We spend our days at the beach (surprisingly, everyone loved... More

Entire beach is a nice and beautiful town located 10 miles before Panama City. Only people staying there have access to beaches , hence do not waste time if you have no access. It a made up planned town and not a natural beach town..classy types..

In fairness, I only got to see this beach from a gated entry that was strangely locked for apparent private entry? I’m guessing for the vacation rentals in the nearby village? Other than that, I can say that I didn’t know anything like this existed in Florida. It looked more like the Caribbean than Florida for sure. The water had... More

Rosemary is a unique upscale family beach place. Although it is a planned beach town, it is different from Seaside. More European style, it feells like a lttle town that everyone in Altlanta wants to have a beach house at - yet it maintains its slow upscale relaxing vacation pace. Expensive, but everything on 30-A is.

We love Rosemary Beach. The beaches are amazing, the restaurants are great and the rental properties are always top notch. Previously we stayed in Sandestin which we also love but at our children's request, we have spent the past 4 years going to Rosemary Beach. It is exceptionally safe and our teenagers love having freedom to go to the beach... More
