Though not a big park, there is one decent trail through the woods, although it crosses a public road and follows part of the cut for the hydro lines part of the way. It gives a decent vista over Lake Erie, though the view below to overdevelopment is not that promising for a natural area. Still a nice stop for... More

As of 2010 the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit has discontinued sampling of beaches within our jurisdiction. As a longtime resident and avid fisherman and active environmentalist, I seen a reduction in the water quality in the Long Point inner bay area Alga and toxic pollutants have all been shown in studies done along Lake Erie shoreline report any health issues... This review is for the beach and not the camping area. The Turkey Point PP beach is located outside of the camping grounds, in the town itself, and is a kilometer or two long, and it is all very sandy. Every time we spend the day here, we have a picnic basket and chairs and just enjoy the sun and... More

The Washrooms are unclean , unhygienic, No Parking attendant after 5 pm. Its a good place for small children who just like water. Some very rude people encountered in the beach as it is a free entrance.

Great family friendly Provincial Park. Safe, affordable and close enough to the beack (% min drive). Bathrooms were the main thing that needed improvement. Kids activities on Saturday night near the playground. Camp store sells basic necessities for camping such as firewood, ice, smoresmakers, grill items, and snack food.

The main beach itself is okay however different sections of the beach have different water quality. I would recommend going to the main strip (which can be quite busy). If you go early you will probably find parking. We went to section 2 and 3 at first and there was a very thick smelly muddy filled shoreline with algae (almost... More

Clarification needed - There is the town of Turkey Point, their beach and parking lot run by Turkey Point Provincial Park and the stand alone Turkey Point Provincial Park's camping site 10 minutes north. At the campsite, sites are large, treed and well maintained. Firewood, ice and basic supplies are available at the gatehouse. Single twisting roads link up the... More

We camped here for the August long weekend. We had a tight fit to get our trailer into the campground. The roads are very weaving and a single lane. Not what you want with a 25 ft trailer. The beach is separate from the park about 2 km away. It is way to open and louder than we like. My... More

Lots of great MTB trails in and out of the park. Trails well groomed and signed by the Turkey Point MTB Club.
