This isn't a very big garden, but it's chock full of plants and, in the autumn, full of colour: the reds of the leaves, the yellows of the rudbeckias, the pinks of the Japanese anemones and cosmos offset by the waving fronds of the various...More

Great coffee, friendly staff , wide ranging menu. Then you have the RHS partner gardens, a true delight. Recently taken over garden centre and nursery with a great range of plants, many grown in site. Enough here to make a half day trip.

I visited here with my mother who has limited mobility. The way the garden snaked back on itself is very clever with very interesting planting in a relatively small space. Lots of places to sit down (essential!) We then had tea in the restaurant which...More

This is not a big garden but should be accessible for all unless the ground is very wet and boggy. It has many areas to inspire your own plot or just gorgeous plants and garden birds to enjoy. So peaceful. The restaurant serves a good...More

Merriments Garden seemed more popular in comparison to my last visit in 2015 - presumably this is due at least in part due to the attention that the garden seems to have started receiving in the national press. As far as I am concerned this...More
