The view from Abiatta-Shala National Park over Lake Shala and Lake Abiatta is stunning. On your way in to the National Park, you can get an informal guide who walks you around and you can see antelope, warthogs and ostritches. The best time to get there is early in the morning when the steam and early sunrays give beautiful photo opportunities. However, the park gates open much later and the bureaucracy prevents you to enjoy the best bird watching time.

This is the deepest lake among Riftvalley lakes. It is the most attractive lake with Islands and silent activities on and around this lake.
