We visited before the tourists arrived ie 9:30am and the place was so peaceful. It’s very small compared to many other old parts of cities in the Savoie region and doesn’t take more than an hour to see it all. Well worth a visit though.

Beautiful little medieval village with a couple of cafes around a central square. A quaint museum also faces onto the square. The museum was interesting with some Roman artefacts and some very old skis too. Highly recommendable as a pit stop for a cold drink...More

Travelling in a motorhome we were guided to our parking Aire up quite a steep hill between Conflans and Albertville. We arrived quite early in the morning and were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with empty streets in Conflans - great for photographs!! An extremely...More

Pleasant to walk around, great views from the park. Places to eat and drink. I've visited Conflans several times when I'm in the region.

Conflans is the medieval heart of Albertville. It isn't large; it's currently being renovated and it isn't fully accessible, but it is interesting and worth looking round, even on a Monday when everything else is shut! We parked opposite the school at the bottom of...More

The place is dismal under construction with bomb lasted streets. The architecture is heterogeneous and the site has not been coherently protected. A real disappointment. The view from the belvedere might be worth navigating through the very choppy streets.

Worth a visit. Interesting walk and lovely views. Was very hot when we visited but plenty of shade and places to get food, drinks and ice creams.

We enjoyed 4 days at the mideaval hotel. Wish I knew of this place when kids was small, they would love to vacation at an old castle. Hotel is new or just refurbished. Missed a few things as a table at the hotel room, water...More
