Nature is unpredictable and on this trip NO WHALES. Wind was a factor and the water taxi ride out to the site was horrendous. The day trips were OK but repetitive up and back... not a lot of exploring. The tent locations were not suited...More

This was our seventh trip with SOW and they have all been excellent. This was the 10 day trip in the Great Bear Rainforest, specifically the Hakai Conservancy - a very special area. We saw lots of wildlife (wolves, sea otter, sea lion), camped on...More

A fantastic experience. All staff were first-rate, the food was fantastic (how do they do all that on an island with minimal services?) The kayaking was amazing and the wildlife cooperated: many, many humpback whales, seal, sea lions, dolphins, and a bear (from a healthy...More

I often judge a company not by the way everything is handled up front but by the way they handle a problem when things don't go quite right. We booked the trip many months in advance, and some miscommunications happened that had the potential to...More
