Nice little course. Being visitors we didn.t have our clubs with us, but they had rentals (not high quality) but included tees and balls. The early morning game proved to be very wet when wearing sneakers but we still enjoyed the game. As with all of Ireland, a game on a warm sunny day is rare and we didn't have that.

We stayed here for a week, and it was quiet but further from the main road than suggested ;-) the accommodation is good, with beautiful countryside all around you. The golf course is nice and moderate in terms of difficulty, but quite a ot of hitting over water (I hacked my way around in under 120...I haven't played for 20yrs)... More

We recently stayed at the golf village and whilst not being golfers we found it to be an excellent base to explore the local counties. The accommodations are spacious and well maintained and although I have read that some thought the decor dated they were appropriate to expectations. Well maintained accommodations and gardens, the staff were all amazingly welcoming and... More

Played golf here and had a lovely game. Only lost two balls into the water. When the wind blows it can be very challenging. Enjoyed it.

I have been visiting East Clare Golf Club for many years and it never disappoints, regardless of the season. It's a beautiful mature course with wonderful views over amazing bogland to the hills of Clare. The course itself has character and is challenging without being frustratingly so. There's plenty of water and beware the bog to the right of the... More

Had lunch in the upstairs bar are as it was by Birthday. Bar meal type of thing but good and well presented and served. Lovely view across the Golf Course. Handy as we were staying in the holiday village.

Second time visiting this course. The last was in 2014. Course has actually improved in condition. Fairways were good and the greens were excellent and super fast--amazing. Food in the bar is very reasonably priced. I like this track and would welcome the chance to return. Visitors are always welcome.
