we traveled to puerto cabezas to try and get a glimpse of the true Caribbean, we were not let down. cody knows his way around these parts for sure, and can most likely hook you up with pretty much any adventure you might be into. lounging on a beach? no problem. riding on dirt bikes to remote villages? check. exploring markets and trying amaizing new food (not turtle)? no problem. Don't hesitate for a second to get on this adventure..

We came to Puerto Cabezas to see something new and different. Not much tourism here, but lots to see. We enjoy small fishing villages and hooked up with Cody from Adventurenica who took us on a few trips to see the local culture. I'd recommend his services any time. He not only knows the locals, but will tailor a tour specifically for your interests.

When i first came to Puerto Cabezas, I came to visit a friends mother. I had no idea what to do in that City. Then i got into a really bad situation with that woman i was visiting. I wanted to leave instandly. So i called Cody because i found him on Tripadvisor. He came to meet me immediately and i could explain him my situation. From that point on he was ready to help me with everything i could wish. He helped me to find an other accommodation, to do daytrips to communities, and so on. Cody introduced me to the right people in Puerto Cabezas. So one day i could produce my own jewellery of black Corall with a local craftsman at his house. Another timer we went to the famous local butcher and i could find out about how pigs are slaughtert, witch was a very hard but important experience for me. The day after we went back to the butcher and saw how the best Chiccarrones are made. I very enjoyed all the trips with Cody. It was allways a lot to learn and of course heaps of fun. He always came to pick me up with his fourweeler, and it was super cool to drive arround Puerto with him. Cody has got many great recommendations on Tripadvisor. And i can just fully agree with all of the great feedback other people have written. If you want to experience real adventures in a remote place of Nica then you have to stick with Cody. Whatever adventure you have in mind, Cody will be the best man in town to help you. I just came back now for the second time. And when i had the idea to volunteer in a local hospital, Cody knew all the right people to make it happen.

I met Cody back in 2015, and we've kept in touch since. When my partner and I decided to sea kayak down the Nicaragua Caribbean coast, I was so happy to have him to ask questions and help me with logistics. Cody meets the needs of any traveler, whether you're coming to Puerto looking for an adventure with a guide, or thinking about venturing out on your own. He'll can offer advice anywhere from niche items to buy at the local market for a long trip, the best place to get fried chicken in town, where to find the local medicine man, and if you have any desire to see any of this crazy remote beautiful frontier, he'll take you. I could go on for hours about his knowledge of the Mosquitia frontier. He's invested a ton of time in this region, and it absolutely shows. I would recommend Cody again and again and again. Annnnnnd, his ceviche and granola are *ridiculously* delicious!
