Was there to collect my beer for the yearly Islay week. What should I say, they are really connected to Islay. If you drink the beer, you know we're you are. The newer (to me) ales are really funny and impressive. You have a connection to whisky but it is a beer. The composition of different hops and peated barley... More

As was said here before - it'S not so much the place, it's the fine ales you can find and buy here!! This is real craft beer. What you'll find are basically two rooms - one storage / store and the brewery itself, small and just one midsize room. I discovered the beer because they had it at the Lochside... More

Nice place in the square and has a good selection of beers. Not many lagers or IPA'S which is not a problem if you like the different and new. Pricing is good and have merchandise as well.

Quick stop off and sample ! Some very palatable beers which can hold their own against many of the bigger producers Thriving small brewery which appears to be expanding. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the product Take a driver

To be honest its not a huge attraction ~ its a small unit making GREAT BEER. The beer is the attraction and not the small unit. The range of beers is very goof ~ I liked the dark one, but over a week I tried them all and they all had their own character and none were poor. A good... More

Very neat and tidy brewery with extremly friendly staff who allowed us tasting of their great brews. I started as a fan of Angus Og which I had tried on the ferry but was seduced by their other earthy rich ales which I continued to enjoy especially with Kilchoman Malt whisky.

The brewery is very small but super interesting! Our visit was fun and entertaining and we got to taste several different ales! The staff was very knowledgeable and kind! Worth a visit if you like beer :) They have so many different beers that you are sure to find one that suits your tastes! Don't plan on spending the whole... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had a great conversation about the merits of chilling beer - something I was dying to discuss because each serving of their beer in restaurants throughout Islay was served room temperature. They have very flavorful and interesting beers - it's only too bad I couldn't bring any back with me to... More

A lovely small Brewery just outside Bridgend, an impressive selection of ales for such a small place and all of them of good to excellent quality (my favourite being the Angus Og). Well worth a visit though it may be best to phone a day before to make sure you can get a tour or tasting as some days they... More
