My husband and I use Sea Hawk Air. Jo and Roland go out of their way to make your hunting trip as safe and successful as possible. They will help pick and deliver you and your gear to the airport if possible. If you need something for the trip, one of their employees can take you to Walmart if you... More

This has been a bucket list wish for both of us for many years! Being this close to the bears was unbelievable! Jo is the perfect guide. We were totally relaxed with her lead. Jo is extremely knowledgable about bears. She was not only guiding us but also educating us on the bears, their habits, and history. The flight to... More

Was hesitant to spend the money on this but soooo glad we did. Impossible to describe the feeling of being within 30 feet of a bear in its own habitat. Jo understands the bears, their body language and apparently they know her as well which made for a non-threatening experience for all parties. If you get to Kodiak, this is... More

Of the 42 days we spent in Alaska, seeing the Kodiak bears is one of those experiences we will take to our graves. The service: helping us arrange hotel, picking us up at the hotel, dog sitting and of course bear watching, etc. Even though Roland and Jo were busy, they treated us like we were the only clients they... Sea Hawk Air flew us to Frazier Lake in the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge to view the Kodiak bears. However, there was a bonus, the fish (salmon) weir leading into Frazier Lake and that history. My wife had never seen Kodiak bears, nor the way salmon sometimes reach their spawning location. The grown Kodiak bears make the brown bears (that... More

This was a most amazing adventure, a must for anyone really wanting to experience bear watching. We put on hip boots and Jo and Rolan flew us to Katmai. We walked in a meadow, through streams and mud and got up close enough to really see the Bears. The scenery could not have been more spectacular, a glacier in the... More

We live in Kodiak, Ak and see bears frequently but when family came to visit we decided to take a float plane tour to see bears. Yes. The Bears are big and it is always exciting to see them but I was so excited just seeing parts of the island we don't ever get to see. The pilot was so... More

We took a fabulous trip on Sea Hawk Air to see the Kodiak bears. Jo, our guide, was extremely informative and made sure our small group moved around and stayed "small" so that we could get the best views while staying safe. If you come to Kodiak and want to see bears, make sure to fly with Sea Hawk Air.

Absolutely fantastic trip. Our guide jo was a fountain of knowledge on the Bears at Frazer lake and was great company. Seahawk were great to deal with throughout and the whole trip including the flight was marvellous - spotted some whales in way out and watched the Bears at the lake at a safe but close range. Feel privileged to... More
