Had to book in advance for a time to visit. Easy to do on the website. Pleasantly surprised at the condition of the building

Lovely ruined priory, visited church attached too. Very interesting history and old graves. Covid safe and friendly staff. Dog friendly.

Off the beaten track but when you get there a ruin plus a lady doing the hard sell and happy take your money but 30 mins at best. The Church which forms part of the site is FREE as is the car park but the coffee shop being closed , with no signs to that effect summed it up sadly. Not worth the diversion. The area around the priory which is free plus the Church yard has more interest

not particularly big (compared to others I have been to) but has interesting history. Not all of it disabled friendly, in fact quite a small area really. The undercroft is lovely. The parish church next door (not EH) is quite nice as well. When around to the tea shop but is is now closed and fenced off.

Great to see some wonderful history of the local area. Wee organised booking system meant that we had plenty of time to explore the priory. The weather wasn't good, although the sun came out at the end. The custodian, Emma, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the site. Shame that the Tea rooms are closed. Hopefully they can re-open in the future.
