After our amazing Dragon Legend cruise in Bai Tu Bay, we opted to add on the Yen Duc village home stay as well. We weren't quite what sure to expect but it far exceeded our expectations in every regard! It is definitely an experience well worth having which I highly recommend if you have the time. When we arrived we... More

After the Bai Long Bay cruise, my friends and I added an overnight stay in Yen Duc Village and a treat that was.! We stayed overnight at the Yen Duc Village house which has 4 rooms available. There were 3 of us, each with our own rooms so we had the village house to ourselves and were treated so well... More

After the boat trip on Halong Bay, we did the village tour. We didn't know what to expect. There were only the three of us for the stay at the village, so we took up 3 of the 4 rooms. The rooms were well appointed, although the bed was a bit firm for my taste. The food was amazing and... More

We really didn't know what to expect but we wanted out son to have cultural experiences while in Vietnam. This was by far the most memorable for us. Tea (Green Tea) our guide was fantastic. My son loved her (we also call him T so he was Black Tea), along with riding bikes around the farm, and fishing! He loved... More

We did one night home stay with Mr San in the village after our Halong Bay cruise. To be honest we didn’t know what to expect, but we had a wonderful time. It is a living farm village in modern day Vietnam, and in many ways it was eye-opening. The days we spent were rainy, but it really didn’t matter.... More

We had a family trip throughout Southeast Asia and our time at Yen Duc Village was the absolute highlight of our vacation. We traveled with our two children, ages 9 and 11, and even they agree this was the best part of our trip! We stayed with Mrs. Men and Mr. Khoa for an overnight stay at their lovely house.... More

I had a very nice homestay with Gi at Ms Men and Mr. Khoa residence. If you want to spend some time off the bustling Hanoi and lay back a little bit, have a chat with the locals, enjoy biking through rice fields and discover the old techniques of fishing and rice making, I highly recommend this place. Food was... More

We had the pleasure of traveling through Northern Vietnam and saw many beautiful places and met wonderful people. What sticks most with our children though is the kind people of Yen Duc Village. There is a magic to this place. We would do it again. Wonderful inviting people. Truly magical.

We did the 5-hour tour as an add-on to our Dragon Legend Junk Boat Cruise and we were glad we did. The tour starts with some snacks and a short water puppet theater performance that we didn't really enjoy, but we had been wanting to experience it so at least there's that. Then the main crowd thinned out and things... More

Our guide Gi toured us around the authentic feeling village on bikes. I strongly recommend that anyone wanting a true feeling experience takes this opportunity before the village is exploited in the tourist market. I would also recommend against the hotel and favor to the guest house with Mrs Men and Mr Khoa in the village. The hospitality that's offered... More
