Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was recently bought an item from the shop which is defective, when I have tried to email them to advise of the situation but email to the address given is undeliverable. Not the sort of service I would expect. As a tourist to the area it is not a shop I would recommend. Once you leave and you have purchased an item it seems you no longer matter

Visiting from British Columbia Canada.
Loved this shop in the quaint little town of Doolin
Excellent selection of all things Irish.
Was there one morning and fell in love with a print of the Cliffs of Moyer.
Came back in the afternoon to get it and it had sold.
We were heading to Italy the next day.
No problems at all, the staff said they could get another one in shortly and have it shipped to us in Canada within 2 weeks.
When we got home a couple of weeks later our print was waiting for us.
Hassle free, great personal service and follow up.
A must stop when in Doolin.

We stopped here after seeing the cliffs of Moher and we were not disappointed. Lovely gift shop, spotlessly clean, great outdoor space to sit and have a relaxing tea and drinks.
Lovely gifts , well priced .

Really lovely shop well worth a look around. The coffee dock and kitchen was excellent. The food we got was really nice and the salad comes in little jars very cute idea and I’d not seen that before.

This is a great place to shop. The prices are very fair and the merchandise is high quality. What else do you need? If you're in Doolin this is a must stop for your Irish shopping needs.

We spent 4 days in Doolin and went in and out of most of the shops 2 or 3 times until finally deciding on purchases for ourselves and those to bring back home for family. Irish Craft is where we ended up finding everything on our list! The prices are good, the quality perfect and the variety to choose from wonderful. The staff was so warm, friendly, patient and so helpful finding different types of gifts for many different ages. Love this place and am currently curled up in a beautiful knitted wool blanket from this wonderful shop. Will definitely stop by next time we are in Doolin!

Thank-you so much for your kind feedback about our store, we're delighted you enjoyed your time with us and it's great to hear that you choose us even after shopping around. It's wet & misty tonight in Doolin, so I too am curled up in a knitted blanket from the shop right now. Funny how old traditional crafts & modern technology bring us together :)

A good selection of gifts and souvenirs from postcards to Irish linen and unique pottery. The prices of Aran knitware were very competitive compared with shops in centres such as Galway. Friendly, welcoming staff.

My wife and I visited this simply lovely shop two times in June 2015. If memory serves me I believe the shop had just opened for business. Our shopping experience was simply fantastic. The shop has a myriad of quality goods for sale so finding something that catches your fancy will not be any problem whatsoever.

We purchased a number of items that included lovely bars of aromatic soap; beautiful men's flannel shirt; quality made wool socks; classic women's hoods; magnets; and a simply beautiful matching candle set. The latter was a birthday gift for our Bed and Breakfast proprietor. She was absolutely thrilled with the classy candle set so much so that she immediately put it out on display in her Great room.

The shop is brand new and has a beautiful interior and exterior. The shop is also equipped with toilets. There is a huge parking lot for your convenience.

As noted, the shop sells top of the line merchandise and will ship your purchased goods home for you.

The best part of our shopping experience was chatting with the wonderful staff. All are genuinely nice and extremely competent. We plan to visit the shop again in October or November 2015. I am going to look at their wonderful selection of men's sweaters and jackets.

Please visit this shop; I guarantee you will not be disappointed and will definitely not depart empty handed.

Don't go here if you have any disability hidden or visible, you will not be made at all welcome, staff are rude and completely thoughtless, even not being able to wear a mask because of breathing problems, after explaining and showing them our exemption badges they were just rude, this is the only place that we have been told to leave....

Good morning, Your review was not unexpected, you made your feelings quite clear to everyone yesterday. While I am sorry you were quite clearly left feeling enraged, I dispute your accusation that we are "completely thoughtless" we have actually put a lot of thought into our difficult decision to enforce a 'No Mask, No entry' policy this season. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, friendly, SAFE environment at Irish Crafts. That environment is for our customers, our staff and for their families at home. As of now, not all our staff have opted for vaccination are fully protected, when they are, we will review our position. Until then, we're doing what we feel, we need to do to offer them as much protection as possible. I do not want a staff member contracting covid at work, I do not want a customer contracting covid at Irish Crafts - I would feel disappointed and in some way responsible if that was to happen - our approach is based on the belief that 'better safe, than sorry"! I empathise that there are circumstances that mean neither you nor your companion can wear a mask. We don't question anyone's reasons, our policy is applied to all aged 13+. I am glad that, despite those personal circumstances, you are still able to enjoy a trip to Ireland. I'd also like to add that at no point were my team rude to either of you, no one raised their voice, no one used expletives, no one questioned your values, no one insulted your nationality. While we fully understand customers will from time to time disagree with our policy we would like to think that the manner in which they do so would at least be civil.
