A Stunning Underworld Experience, the Great Stalactite at Doolin Cave is one of Europe's most compelling cave attractions. It is a truly unique and breathtaking experience:- the largest stalactite in the Norhern Hemisphere. Doolin Cave has a Farmland Nature Trail, which is FREE for its visitors. We have unusual breeds of chickens, sheep, cattle and alovely pygmy goat called Minnie, with her little kid called Vincent Van Goat or Vinnie for short. We have also planted lots of native trees and shrubs and wildflower meadows. Our cafe serves lovely fresh salads, soups, breads and homemade cakes We are very proud to announce that we have recently been awarded a Gold Award from Ecotourism Ireland. Hurray!

This is a little known gem, a great surprise. By far one of my favourite caves in Ireland. Unique privately owned cave with informative tour guides.

We stopped in for a bite. I had the fish chowder and it was the best I ever had. Creamy, loaded with fish, and a good sized portion.

Sadly none of our party were able to tackle all the steps to the cave, despite wanting to do so. The staff were immensely helpful and did allow us to walk the nature trail and enjoy the views. The were also very informative about other attractions in the area We went back to the car for a few minutes before... More

Beautiful and historical landmark! Really cool place, and really cool tour! Our tour guide, Pearl, was real friendly and professional and knowledgeable. She also spoke a lot of languages. Really liked the touch of drama in the tour as well ;)

Amid the caves that I have toured, I would say overall the cave is 3 out of 5; however, the main attraction - a very large stalactite isolated and suspended in the middle of the cave roof - is spectacular upping my overall rating of the cave to a 4. To view the cave you go on a 45 minute... More

The cave is small but incredible. Our guide Mason did a wonderful job telling us about it all. Our group was small and Mason allowed us to take time to ask questions and take pictures and he added loads of extra bits for us as well. Well done tour and who doesn't love a cave?!?!

My two girls 11 & 10, and I really enjoyed the cave tour, animals (especially the goats in the rooftop) and walking around the lovely loop & forest walk (look for fairy village). Lots of steps & low clearance in the tunnel to the cave, so I wouldn't recommend this for people with mobility or back issues.

Our family stumbled upon the caves and are we ever glad that we did. The stalactite is jaw dropping. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the cave and his presentation was very good. Easily accessible for most people.

I'm claustrophobic so when friends said they wanted to go down the caves I was a little dubious however these were amazing. Be prepared for a huge flight of step though, if you can deal with them walking up then its well worth the effort
