Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here for lunch while exploring the area and enjoyed ourselves. Had a couple of pints and Guinness Stew.

After a long day walking along the cliffs of moher we decided to walk down to the village for lunch and our first stop was O'connors pub which was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a table together and ordered our drinks and food. We gave them our table number and order and the service was pretty good considering how busy they were. The food was excellent and big portions as well. It's a good spot for lunch and dinner with music players in the evening if you want some traditional Irish music

Our family stopped by at a really rainy day and we were surprised of the homemade cooking. Traditional Irish stew, roast of the day, burger and vegetarian cottage pie were all tasty.

Great place to go (probably the best choice) when visiting Doolin area. Decent choice of menu options, something for everyone. Portions are good size and prices are reasonable and comparable to the states. The best was the beers, MUCH cheaper than the US. Guinness did taste a little different from in the states but in a good way. Atmosphere is what you would expect in an Irish pub, very lively especially when their is live music which is a must see!
Well worth a visit when in town!

Great food. Good to see vegan choices on the menu. Lovely atmosphere, very polite helpful staff. Would definitely revisit.

Visited for lunch with my wife whilst on our way back from a trip to the Cliffs of Moher to Galway.

What an amazing find, a great little (actually, not so little) Irish pub. I chose the steak sandwich which was quite literally the best steak sandwich I have ever eaten; my wife chose the soup of the day - mushroom and coconut, which whilst sounding a little weird was delicious.

If you ever find yourself in Doolin and hungry then give it a go, you won’t regret it!

We were glad we chose O'Connor's for our meal. We had been on a long drive and were ready for a good meal and a bit of entertainment. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection(rare of course). My wife had the King Prawn PilPil and kids opted for fish and chips or the mussels. Everyone was very happy with the food. There was a bit of delay but not overly concerning. It was a busy Friday night after all. The Guinness was to die for, and with the session starting up, we were not for moving. The musicians were excellent and the atmosphere was just what we had hoped for. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and engaging. A lovely night in Doolin.

Dinner here was meh, at best. The servers were slow, forgot one drink order outright, and were so delayed in attending to us at all that we opted to find another pub (Fitzpatrick's, a great choice) to finish the night at. The bar manager was helpful and friendly, but the guy can't do everything. The food was decent, but not outstanding. The ambience was non-existent unless you enjoy watching a guy with an extensionladder and a pitcher of water going up to the second story to do some cleaning through the open door to the street. For a bar so well reviewed and with so much history I was very disappointed. This is what it looks like when an institution stops trying.
