O Brien ferry company was recommend to us by our host at our accommodation. There are a few companies running the same trip so it was nice to get the recommendation and we were not disappointed. Price was great - €80 for family of 4 to Inis Mor. Boarding was easy. Trip time is about 1 and a half hours... More

From Doolin, we took the ferry to the Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. The ferry ride was as expected and took us by the Cliffs of Moher on the return trip. I think I would have preferred to go to one of the larger islands. Inisheer was pretty, with lots of stone walls and horses and carts, but... More

Inis Oirr is worth a visit and the ferry ride is pleasant but I wouldn't recommended this company. Paid for a return trip along the Cliffs of Moher but the boat took the direct route back.

Excellent service and and enjoyable cruise to Inis. There are three Aran islands and various tours from the mainland through Bill O'Briens Ferry company, on the harbour front . Inis is the most popular. The weather was perfect for both the ferry experience and that of making the most of the island trip itself. There are a number of different... More

This was one of the worst experiences I've had for a long time, so bad that I had to leave a review to help unsuspecting travelers from experiencing the same mess. To start, the bus scheduled isn't taken into consideration for the Doolin ferry schedule so if you want to take the earliest bus to catch the earliest ferry you... More

If you are looking to get a different view of the cliffs, try O'Brien Ferries. Plenty of parking near the pier. The boats are pretty full and on a sunny day can be very hot. Best views from the bottom deck, while also affording you some shade. They only operate certain times of day, so be sure to check prior... More

Mostly larger boats which is good because the seas can be a bit rough. Staff very friendly. They overbooked our return so we had to wait for another boat but it was not a big deal.

We were a group of 4 adults from Australia who all had held a long desire to visit the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. Booking online from Australia was very easy and we easily collected our tickets from the booth at the ferry dock, but after that everything went south very quickly. There was a large tour group... When booking the trip to Inisheer with a Cliffs of Moher tour on the way back, the staff were nothing but polite and informative, and getting on the boat with our tickets was no issue and straightforward. The boats themselves are a little rundown. Quite a few of the seats were missing or broken, and the speakers on the initial... More

September first was a rainy, windy dreary day, except for the sights at Inis Mor on the Atlantic Coast. It was a 40 Minute Ferry ride to Inis Mor, here there is world heritage site of Dun Aonghasa Fort and it is the home of the Aran Sweater. There are very clean beaches with dolphins (which we did not see)... More
