Walk
Aug 2021
A group of 5 friends, we parked one car at Doolin and another at Cliffs of Moher. We started from Cliffs of Moher and walked to Doolin on a really nice day so we had great views, so enjoyable. We got food in Doolin and then made our way by car back to pick up the car at Cliffs of Moher. Would recommend on a nice day!

Truly Beautiful
Sep 2020
Spectacular views on this walk. Truly amazing and well-worth taking a few hours out of your day to go on it.
It is not too difficult but good walking runners or boots are definitely a must.
There are quite a lot of boggy areas (even in dry weather) to cross over.
This is definitely a must if in Doolin or nearby.

Pat is great craic, full of stories, but also conscientious & considerate. The views were so beautiful but the craic with Pat would make any outing fun.

This walk gives you views and photo opportunities that you will not get by just visiting the interpretative centre.

Did this walk with a local guide starting from Doolin. (starts from local pub at 10:00am each morning) This walk gives you views and photo opportunities that you will not get by just visiting the interpretative centre. Pleasant walk, not too difficult. I wouldn't recommend it for small children.

Do it! Great Views
Aug 2020
Despite it blowing a gale and being showery this was a fantastic experience. The walk/trail is pretty easy to do and most people should find it doable - there is some climbing over walls although there are steps on either sid. We had visited the main cliff centre previously and as it was foggy we didn't see the cliffs. This time we parked in the Liscannor Car park which is just €3 at a private house. It's a short walk to the south end of the cliffs and you can walk all the way to Doolin from here. But even walking a few KMS gets you great views of the cliffs which we had a great view of this time. Well worth a visit away from the crowds of the visitor centre.

A good idea but...

A ciastal path in this area is a no-brainer, given the views. However the ban on dogs makes it difficult and pointless to visit again. Other cliff walks in Ireland don't have this rule, such as Ardmore and Ballycotton, so I don't see the need for it.
