Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Even though we are 70 and out of shape, we decided to take a private walking tour with Ollie’s Tours based on rave reviews from friends of ours. Our guide, Sofia, had a delightful personality and was knowledgeable about the history, geology and culture of the area. She made frequent stops to point out important sites and to allow us to take in the beauty of the cliffs and sea. She set a comfortable pace for us and we did not feel rushed. Although the end of the hike was steep, we were rewarded by the gorgeous scenery.
I emailed Ollie several times with questions before booking this tour and found him to be extremely helpful and responsive.
I would highly recommend this half day walking tour with Ollie’s Tours and look forward to returning to Doolin one day in order to take his tour of the Aran Islands

If you are visiting county Clare, The Cliffs of Moher are an absolute must. You could just drive to the top visiting center but you would be missing half the experience! Ollie’s Tour lets you explore the cliffs and get in some excursive at the same time. The tour guid takes you on a stunning cliff hike and tells in depth story’s rich in Irish culture! Our group was very small which allows for a more intimate feeling instead of being swallowed up in a crowd! Our tour guide Sophia guided us up the high climb to look down at the cliffs and gorges. We saw tons of birds and wild flowers and even some jelly fish. I loved all the story’s she had to share and she guided us to all the best places to take photos! We even had spectacular weather! This is an experience you will never forget!

We had the most spectacular time on the Cliffs of Moher private tour with Tommy! He was an absolute joy and provided so much interesting information and history! He also works as a storyteller and we were treated to a very well told, entertaining story at the end of our tour! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this tour if you want to be in the 3% of visitors who see the Cliffs up close and personal. Phil, our guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and took great care to make sure we were all safe. And his stories are priceless.

Phil was a fantastic guide, making sure we hit all of the highlights of the island. We happened to book on a day that was meant to be gloomy, but found ourselves surrounded by blue skies and sunshine. He helped to find the best spot for a cartwheel pic, and patiently waited while we tried to get the perfect shot 😅. We had a great chat the entire time, and left feeling like we were old friends. The tea and scones were amazing, and the insight into life on the islands was so interesting. To top it all off, Phil even gave us some suggestions and advice on visiting the Burren on our own after our time with him. I would happily book this tour again, it’s great craic! 😉.

Walking tour of Ennis with Ollie was a lovely experience. This was a free tour during the Fleadh Nua week.

Ollie was very attentive and shared from his wealth of knowledge. Even though I have a fair grasp of the Irish history, Ollie explained some of the history in an informative and humorous way.

Run, don't walk, to book a tour of the Cliffs of Moher with Ollie Tours. Our experience was unbelievable and I cannot imagine experiencing the Cliffs any better way. Our tour guide was very informative and a professional storyteller so we got a lot of unique and interesting tid bits during the hike. 10/10 would recommend!!

This trip was a highlight of our time in Ireland. Our tour guide Philip was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and funny. Biking was a great way to see the small island and explore the ruins. We would highly recommend booking with Ollie’s tours :)

My family of 4 did a guided walk from the Visitors Center to the Cliffs. Our tour guide, Tommy, was great. He had a great mix of history, knew when to keep moving, and helped with family photos. He also pointed out that everyone kind of stops at one spot but we kept going and got an even better view of the Cliffs.

A fabulous day on the island of Inishmeer. Phil was a colourful expert with great stories and impressive knowledge. We went inside the shipwreck, graveyard and O'Brien castle. Enjoyed tea and scones and checked out the merchants and pubs. Despite the rolling seas, Phil kept a close watch on us all and made a great adventure one of our most memorable in Ireland. A definite MUST DO!! Thank you - maybe see you tomorrow on the cliff tour!
