Very different from the rest of Ireland. Glad we went but it was not that exciting. There are other better places to see.

The Burren stretches for miles and miles. It is quite an experience to see so much stone and sea. Very evocative.

Routes well signposted and the hike is relatively easy. On a sunny day the scenery is amazing. We chose the blue route and wish it was longer!

This place is breathtaking. The stones are fascinating and beautiful. It was a cloudy day but we still had a nice long walk.

The Burren is gorgeous natural landscaping with the limestone of Ireland. There are multiple attractions, such as Aillwee Cave, Gleninsheen Wedge Tomb, Poulnabrone, and more. Caherconnell Stone Fort offers a great educational experience and they are actively excavating to learn more about the Burren's past.
