I'm a bit of a history nut and I love the castles in the Czech Republic, Many are very well preserved. I really enjoy the Castles such as Hrad Kasperk that involve a hike instead of just driving up. My cousin and I visited on a side trip into the southern Bohemia region. Probably my favorite region of Czechia besides... More

The castle is OK, but its quite small. The guided tour divided in two separate circuits doesn't make sense, because there is very little to show and not so much to say. Unless it's a question of money, what it looks like. The installation is really poor, the pseudo-multi-medial show is a bad joke. Unfortunately our guide (Filip?) was showing... More

+ beautiful castle in very nice location, grazing sheeps around the castle, affordable prices, beautiful view - very bad quality of the cafe beverages and very small selection of the sweet things, e. g. cakes.

This castle is in a lovely forest setting you can walk to from the main car park. The ground are very nice and there are places to get food and drink. Entry to the castle required a guide, meaning you have to pay for a tour in Czech or German. Can't say if its worth it, (the castle isn't that... More

We visited this place twice over the course of 2 days. Once with the kids by car with a 20 minute walk from the parking lot, and once by ourselves from Kasperske hory (town) which was about a 90 minute walk (one way). We also visited the other two castle in the triangle of castles the same long weekend (Rabi... More

We were there before 12:00 clock. The life in the Castle tour is speak Czechs but it's ok with English text introduction. Good educational trip with kids.

We have stayed in Kasperske Mountain for a summer week holiday. Fantastic place to explore. We took a lovely long walk from a nearby car park through out the forest and reach the top with this nice castle. Great building and lots of history so we took a tour but what a massive disappointment of our tour guide!!! My family... More

The whole trip to Kasperk castle is really nice, if you travel by foot from the city, as we did. First, the city is really beautiful, full of old painted houses, the main square is simply adorable. Then you go through wonderful nature and although the path is bit challenging (castle is suited on pretty big hill), we did enjoy... More
