A beautiful example of truly Maltese Church with tonnes of Historical significance
Jun 2018 • Family
A church that goes back to 1436. Qormi waa very important from a geographical perspective. The old houses around the church were structured in such a manner to assist residents in the case of an invasion. For those of you that want to to visit another location with historical significance besides Mdina, Rabat, Cospicua (and the other 2 of the 3 cities) and obviously Valletta, Qormi is the place to be.

Beautiful church, with very interesting artworks .
Jun 2018 • Family
A beautiful church with many interesting artworks and .Holy Mass celebrations are often accompanied with the enchanting sound of the church organ.I suggest to visit during weekdays as on Saturday afternoon and Sunday it will be more busy with Holy Mass celebrations. The St.George parish in Qormi is well known for the Good Friday and Easter festivities and for the feast of the patron saint in June.

One of the oldest and largest churches in Malta. Very ornate and much gold. The famed artworks are a must see. The processions on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and festa in June are magnificent.

Baroque church with Best Good Friday Statues
Jan 2017 • Friends
Best to visit this church during a celebrated mass, example Christmas, Easter and the Parish feast of St George on every Last Sunday of June when the church gilded ceiling will be fully lighted up or visit in the morn of a sunny day. This church has the best Good Friday on the Island, 14 Apr 2017, when you can see 12 prosessional multi-figure statues including the biggest statue of the last supper of Christ consisting of 13 figures,Christ and his apostles around a big table, it is spetacular to watch this statue being carried by professional bearers for several kilometers around the village on Good Friday Afternoon. Prepare yourself for a good 3 to 4 hours to see the whole procession, pageant and statues, and go early to find a good place from where to watch the whole spectacle.

A beautiful church
Oct 2015 • Couples
A beautiful church. It is older than the St. Sebastian Church and smaller. The area around the church is also very cute and gives you an idea of village life in Malta.
