We thought it was going to be another Eater Island and in ways it is a contemporary version. There are carved statues of saints and other kind of weird sculptures. There are artists still carving big stone blocks into new sculptures.

What a fascinating place. Grander in scale than we had imagined. Beautiful granite sculptures, with a wonderful array of styles. Surprisingly free. A lovely way to spend an hour or two
