We had an afternoon tour of the factory in a small group. The tour guide took us to all the key points of the Denby pottery production process, and explained it very well. We were overwhelmed by the size of the site, and the amount...More

Excessive packaging, appallingly cheap and tasteless white bread, poor quality ham and limp piece of lettuce. Just under £5!! Most tables not cleared or cleaned and yet very quiet. Disgraceful for a venue promoting British goods and tourism. Avoid eating here at all costs. And...More

We enjoyed the tour of the factory which was informative – and very much liked the frog making and plate painting at the end. We were all adults so I am not sure if the tour might not be too long for kids – but...More

We are here for business once a year and always call for a few replacement items and a lovely coffee and cake. There is always a bargain to be had and it keeps our dinner service up to numbers without becoming a mish mash of...More

We had a great day out starting with a coffee and freshly baked scones in the restaurant. There is always a good bargain in the factory shop and every gadget you could possibly want in the shop. Although my children are older for those families...More

Visited while on short break in the area and really enjoyed our time here especially the factory tour. It is really good to be able to go round a working factory and see goods made, so much better that some of the sterile visitor experiences...More

We went here when we stayed at Derby. A lovely place to visit. There is a playground for kids, places to eat, and of course big enough outlet store that sell all of it's ranges. They also have a main shop and they schedule attractions...More

We enjoyed our visit. We liked the Denby factory shop and the Dartington glass shop. We liked the Walter Smith deli and farm shop. Some nice quality pies and sausage including award winning pork pie. We will probably arrange a tour and return another time.

No, and this has become a sadly missed feature of the Denby arena. The whole cookshop has been redesigned, with a superb butchers taking up a great deal of space, gift shops squeezed up to the other end and cookshop itself... More

Hello - I run a language school in Nottingham. Each summer ( july and August) we run a Summer School for Young Learners between he ages of 11-17. They come to improve their English and to have fun! Each Thursday we take them on a day-trip to local attractions/activities. For example Alton Towers, canoeing, snowboarding. We are looking for additional activities and wondered if a visit to Denby would be something we could arrange. I like the idea of a factory tour and some hands-on pottery making. There would be about 30-40 students and English is not their first language. Please could you give me some idea of the cost, and whether you think this is possibility Very best wishes Linda

I have been trying to find where to buy the Denby pink rabbit that was shown on a recent email from Denby. They informed me it is available at the factory outlet. Is this you and can I buy it on line as I live quite a long way away?
