Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great trip, well worth doing. Boat leaves on time so don't be late (saw one car pull up as we had pulled off, they were 10 mins late). Staff were so helpful. Watched them clean down all the surfaces before trip to ensure that everywhere was sanitised and lots of signage up re masks etc. Booked our tickets on line, name was on sheet when we arrived, so easy. Food available on the boat, we had just had breakfast but it looked fab. Great coffee. Really interesting audio on history of area. We didn't get to see any dolphins this time but we'll definitely be back.

We booked this in advance. It runs for about 90 minutes and is well worth the trip. Car park on site where you can park. The only down side was the weather. It was raining and misty. But we were still able to go on deck. The scenery is fantastic, some great photo opportunities. There is a commentry on the outward part with interesting information on the Fjord and surroundings. There is also onboard catering, food and alcohol at reasonable prices.
Would definately come back again and hope for better weather. Highly recommend this.

A really delightful experience … we enjoyed it so much. The views are simply breath-taking.

The boat was so comfortable with excellent commentary and the trip was just the right length. The staff were so friendly and helpful and there was a super selection in the cafe bar. We enjoyed this experience so much an recommend it highly!

We did the cruise on the 2.30 sailing. The staff are great and the commentary was really interesting, could be extended if possible? Our two loved it, though younger children didn't seem interested in much more than running around the boat. Very calm sailing and I recommend it for anyone passing near Leenane

This was just a wonderful experience. Sean Keane was a pure gentleman & such a wonderful artist, absolutely fantastic.
The boat trip was also superb with such a beautiful setting & had the benefit also of an amazing sunset. Out on deck you got the feeling of being in a mystical & magical place, travelling through the mountains. This was better than Lake Como.

Though we didn’t see dolphins etc., this was a worthwhile trip. Staff were excellent, boat was clean and commentary was interesting. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Bring a hat and raincoat for the unpredictable weather.

This trip is a great way to see the Killary Fjord and its surrounding mountains. I don’t have good sea legs but was reassured by the “no sea sickness” guarantee offered by the company. I needn’t have worried - it was very smooth.
The commentary on board is very informative and there’s also leaflets to explain all about the fjord, its history and the aquaculture industry which now flourishes there.
There’s excellent facilities on board - we had lunch and sampled a drink from the bar.

Highly recommended and great way to spend a couple of hours!

Amazing experience and truly peaceful. The boat had food and drinks of reasonable prices along with toilets of good standards.

The views can not be beaten and is 100% something that must be done if in the area!

I was slightly unsure if I wanted to go on this due to suffering slight sea sickness but that all changed when I seen on their main website that there was no sea sickness guaranteed! We boarded and it was slightly busy but no overly busy! The journey was wonderful and although it was raining the scenery was beautiful! There is interesting info provided via a pa, there are members of staff on board that provide assistance if needed and are very friendly! I couldn't help but have a guinness or 2 on board! There are toilets available on board! Excellent journey and would do it again!
