Just spent a fantastic weekend at Killary. Staff were brilliant, made you feel really welcome. Food was great. The main thing were the activities. You'd imagine that running the same courses day in day out would lead to the organizers being be bored. Far from it. Everything we did felt fresh and fun. We did the bog challenge and the... More

The centre itself is a beautiful building and the accommodation more than met the expectations. The rooms we're clean and we'll maintained and we really couldn't fault them. The breakfast and lunch were great and the soup well needed after a morning in the rain! But I really want to commend the staff. Everyone we met were more than helpful.... More

It's a beautiful part of the country and we will definitely be back next summer. Special mention to Ronaldo and Jimmy for being such... More

I went for an excellent morning paddle with Killary Adventure Company in Killary Fjord near Leenane in Galway. KAC had good gear and a good kayak and I had a paddle out to the mouth of the Fjord and back. There were a few nice waterfalls along the way as well as many mussel farm floats (I later got to... I went with my class for five days to Killary Adventure Centre last October. We got to do so many activities that were on offer, such as the rock climbing, laser tag, high ropes, abseiling, giant swing and the kayaking. My favorite activity was the ringo rides though! The instructors were hilarious and encouraged us all to try everything! The... More

We spent 2 nights at Killary Adventure Centre, total of 17 Hens from all over Ireland and the UK. We all arrived late of a Friday night, spent some time in the communal lounge upstairs then heading into Killary for dinner and drinks, the guys at Killary Adventure Centre were so helpfully giving us taxi numbers etc. On the Saturday... Had a stag weekend with a bunch of friends. Were all adventurous sorts so Killary adventure centre seemed a good choice. Added to this, many of us had completed the Gael Force race which brings the terrain to bear on competitors. With Paul and Leanne were our guides and helped make it loads of fun in tier dealings with us.... More

We had two separate student groups visit Killary and take part in the turf challenge this summer. They were talking about it for days and weeks afterwards, what a brilliant time they had! Everyone was a little anxious before they got started but once they had finished they all wanted to do it again. The staff are great and the... More
