Excellent service from Peter and his young assistant, the bikes and ancillary equipment were all ready to go as we arrived. I had not been on a bike for many years and I wasn’t too confident cycling on the roads but the Greenway is a short five minute walk away and once on there its very safe with no traffic.
There were six adults and four young children in our group and we all had a great afternoon seeing a side of Killala you would only normally see driving by at speed in your car.
Hopefully get a chance to do it again before too long.

Bikes were delivered to our holiday home at no extra charge. All bikes were well maintained and security vest and helmets were supplied for each. Responses to online requests were prompt and the person delivering and recovering the bikes was very helpful. Great service that enhanced our stay!

Booking was very easy and everything was ready once we arrived. Ciara was very nice and told us the best routes to take to really see the scenery around the area.

I would highly recommend Marc and company for rental of the bikes for touring the Wild Atlantic Way in North Mayo or as we did, cycled the greenway in Killala to the nearby Monastery.
The bikes are very well maintained and they routes described by Marc are very quiet and perfect for us to tow our smallies along.

We would highly recommend hiring bikes from Marc. He was very pleasant and accommodating for our two young children and teenage niece. It was a fun day out for all the family with lovely views on the Green way.

We hired bikes here to do the Killala Greenway. Two adults and three kids (10,7 & 5). Rang ahead one hour in advance to see if bikes were available. By the time we got there. Bikes were ready to go complete with helmets and hi-vis bibs and trailer attached to one adult bike. The greenway itself is lovely. Easy to cycle and very safe. Only one road crossing once you start. Lovely countryside, farmers fields, horse stables, a playground and lots of fresh air. No difficult climbs but one or two small hills to test the thighs but all manageable at all levels. Prices were reasonable too. Can not recommend highly enough. Great day out and great friendly and helpful service and so easy to organize.

Fantastic service and great value.
Ciara delivered two bikes and all necessary safety gear to our holiday home before we arrived, meaning we were ready to get going immediately! Communication beforehand was fantastic, as well as throughout our stay. Collection was organised at a time that suited us too.
The bikes themselves were great for exploring the quiet roads on the fantastic Mayo coastline. Will definitely recommend Ciara and Killala Bike Hire to friends and family.

Had a great morning this morning thanks to Killala Bike Hire. As part of the annual Killala festival we joined in on a guided bike tour led by Marc and Ciara. We had a superb time learning about the history of Killala, from the old famine work houses, cathedrals and round tower, the old railway line and of course the wonderfully majestic Moyne Abbey. Both of the guys are so friendly and helpful. A great cycle trek and service! Thanks guys.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in Killala for a few nights and we rented bikes on one of the day there. Ciara was very nice and so helpful and the bikes were in great condition and comfortable to cycle. We did the route as far as Beleek Forest and Ballina and it was so lovely. Its Greenway track for part of it but most of the cycle is on local roads but they are very quiet. It was a little confusing at the point where the Greenway ends so maybe a signpost there would be helpful. But other than that it was a lovely day out. Moyne Abbey and Rosserk Abbey are beautiful and Marys Well is a must see! Such a gorgeous little spot. And Beleek Forest is stunning. Lots of trails so you could spend hours there. I would highly recommend doing this and we will be back to do the other routes next time.

Rented bikes with a group of friends to do the 28km round-trip from Killala to Killcummin. Such fantastic service provided by Marc and Ciara. They have great local knowledge, we visited an abbey along the way. When one of our groups tyre burst Marc was out with a replacement bike within minutes. A great activity when visiting Killala and surrounding areas.
