The Military Road out of Laragh is a gorgeous drive. It's a skinny, winding road with steep drops to the side but if you take your time it's not dangerous. Plenty of viewing points along the way and I'd have to put Glenmacnass Waterfall as...More

You could be in any of the scenic counties of Ireland yet you are only half an hour from Dublin. Wonderful scenery and a healthy day out.

This area of Ireland is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding. Spring of the year heather is in bloom and the lushness apparent. An easy drive from Dublin going towards Kilkenny.

It isn't very far at all. Just follow the signs and there will be a small station to pay a minimal fee and the Powerscourt Falls is beautiful.
