Wonderful experience. Our room was huge, luxurious and very comfortable. The bar was welcoming and had an extensive range of whiskeys to work through. One of the nights we were entertained by a talented female singer in the bar; not that we needed another reason to linger! Dinner in the Earl of Thomond restaurant was excllent. Amazing food, good service... More

From the exquisite décor to the sherry and dark truffles I felt like a princess as I should here at Dromoland. It is a gorgeous castle with beautiful grounds and gardens.

We had a very pleasant time at the castle, however it is a complete rip-off. The drink prices are crazy in the bar then on top of that they charge 16% service charge for serving you a drink across a bar. They also have a tip charge at the end of the bar that you are expected to contribute to.

We only spent one night here, but were very impressed. The people on staff were delightful and went out of their ways to make us feel at home. Word of warning: most castles don't have elevators. Our room was on the 5th floor in the turret. It was a big climb for an old lady like me, but the view... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. A warm welcome from the doorman and receptionist. Our room was spacious, spotless and nicely furnished.Dinner with a 5 course menu was delicious and our waiter Gary a young man was courteous and looked after my gluten free needs with no fuss. Every one we met in Dromoland Castle... More

Liked the folk park, learned about their different lives of historic irish families, the rooms in the castle, lots of stairs to rooms and turrets, liked the little village, the pub, the shops all closed by 3 pm was a little disappointing but the place is great and well run.

My wife's treat. My wife Ann, my son and daughter and their partners my granddaughter and myself went to Dromoland Castle last Saturday for afternoon tea. What a treat. Beautiful sannies and snacks and the sweet cakes (birdy num nums) were out of this world. Service was silver service but very friendly and helpfull. Even though we hadn't booked and... More

My experience at Dromoland Castle was one that I will never forget. I enjoyed every minute of it from walking the grounds, the falconry, the food was awesome, the pub had everything you may want. The staff was very friendly and helpful at every turn. I could not find anything that would make my stay unpleasant. It was the highlight... More

High quality reflected in the pricing. Felt over charged for generic dinner menu. IHowever, high quality of service and excellent rooms. Very comfortable night of rest.
