Great spot to visit, amazing views and good places to walk with some shelter also if needed and parking facilities. No where nicer when the sun is shining. Would be great to see events here for families.

We could see it and badly wanted to go for a walk along the beach but no matter what we tried we could not find a natural way down to the bay. As was raining climbing through long grass was not an option.

This is well worth a visit if you are in Buncrana at any time. Lovely little place right on the edge of the sea, with excellent parking and sure to be of interest even for children

It is a hidden gem; small , clear-blue-green waters (if you are lucky enough to visit it in a sunny day - I was )

This beach is overshadowed by the Military Museum at Fort Dunree and is a lovely safe beach for children. It is very far off the main beaches in the area and rarely gets too busy in the summer. Sometimes visitors to the Fort will come...More

This beach at Dunree Bay is beautiful and a real, hidden gem. Well worth the short walk from the road, the views are spectacular. Bring a picnic as there's nowhere close by, hopefully you'll be fortunate enough to get a good day.

I love the out of way places and you won't find too many tourists here. Take an apple for the horse on the way to the water. Pristine and off the beaten track. Most would not swim there since water is too cold for most....More

Beautiful beach with close to white sands and clear water in Ireland! It was cold when we traveled to this beach but it was still a stunning sight to see. I could imagine this beach being very popular on a nice sunny day. A must...More
