What a delightful lady was on duty when we dropped into the tourist office. A real enthusiast for the area, knowledgeable about it all and so keen that we should have a great time, digging out booklets and maps from the back. This is such a lovely area - I never thought I would ever go to Malin Head, and... More

My Husband and I required information on the best way to get to both Derry and Letterkenny by bus. The lady we dealt with was very patient and took the time to go onto her computer and printed off the information we required. Thank you it was very helpful, and we got to where we needed to go to because... More

When on a cycle tour we called into the Tourist Office at Buncrana, just to look around really. As always in Ireland we got talking and everybody joined in with advice on where to stay, the roads that were good to cycle on and where the best food was. A few days later we met one of the people when... More

We set off to explore the Wild Atlantic Way starting from Muff. Unfortunately Muff has no information and so Buncrana Tourist Office was the best place to go. This is where we met Heidi. We explained our situation, 2 kids, what we wanted to do and she put together a 3 day tour of Donegal including accommodation. We wanted to... More

The gentleman I spoke to dropped what he was doing when I walked in. He was very knowledgeable about the area and laid out a travel plan for me showing the best places for me to visit during my 2 day stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Excellent customer service.

Buncrana is not a very big place but the Tourist Office is very impressive. Call in before you start exploring and you'll find plenty of advice on what to do and where to go.And it was open midweek in January which is not always the case!

If you want to visit Inishowen this is the place to start - the staff is very helpful and take their time to talk over tourist questions. I came away armed with plenty of information and a cheery goodbye with a request to get in touch anytime for more information
