Awesome blowhole along the Cliff Walk in Ballybunion. Quite natural and earthy AND deep...straight down to the ocean! Chilling to see and think how the (folklore) nine daughters could have met their deaths for disobeying their father!

It's fenced off now, but when we were kids we would walk right up to the edge and stare down. It's such a lovely dramatic spot.

This is found as part of the cliff walk. The scenery is beautiful and we'll worth the effort. The nuns beach can also be viewed on the cliff walk.

A victim of its own process of creation, the nine daughter's hole isn't what it used to be. However; the short cliff walk is very worthwhile and boasts some beautiful Atlantic cliff views and nature in all its glory. If lucky, the dolphins may be...More

This is a really nice cliff-walk, and the Nine Daughters Hole in particular was amazing looking. It's fenced off, but you can climb over easy enough, and there is a bit of a pathway leading down toward it, so i never felt unsafe. That said,...More
