The entry fee was a good value. Interesting grounds to walk, with historic recreations in the several out buildings. The castle itself is amazing. The rooms, the walkways, and the climb to the top. The view from the top is beautiful. As an added bonus, a nice pub and Bunratty Hotel are a short stroll. Highly recommend!

Very nice dinner and show here. I would certainly recommend it. The staff dresses and act in the period. The dinner is actually quite good and substantial. Four course , I believe. The entertainment is top notch in an old castle. The entertainment includes: harp playing, violin, and traditional singing and some theatre. The castle is a great environment. Our... More

We loved walking around this area. The castle is fun to see since it's what it would've been like inside. We don't get to see that at ruins but this one is intact.

Great castle, well maintained. Folk park is a great plus with some interesting shops and eateries. View from the top of the castle is magnificent.

We went during the off months, so it was not as busy as it would be during the summer months. Not everything was up and running yet from winter, but it was clean and enjoyable to walk around and explore. The castle is full of history and fun to check out!

Spent a day at the Bunratty Folk park, a incredibly interesting look at life from hundreds of years ago. Highlight was wandering throughout Bunratty Castle. Just amazing. Stayed for the medieval feast. The atmosphere and entertainment was great but not so much the 'feast'. To be fair I believe catering is done elsewhere because of no kitchen facilities in the... Bunratty castle and grounds were really fun and educational. We enjoyed being able to explore on our own. We were there in January so not everything was open, but most of it was. We spent about 2.5 hours enjoying the park including having a pint at the pub. Really good for all ages.

We passed this on the road and with a couple of hours to kill decided to take a look not knowing anything about it. It was a real adventure and an amazing insight to what life in Ireland has been over the last few centuries. The castle itself was amazing inside but the real highlight was the dwellings etc around... More

Well kept castle and park. Park area wasn't open when we went which was in February. Too bad, it would have been nice to see the shops open since the price was the same. Gift shop had large selection and reasonable prices.
