Tramore Beach is a beautiful place. Wintertime is great as it is not so packed and the coffee houses are still open. The Summer time sees the place swelled to capacity with tourists and locals alike. A very safe environment it is a lovely place to holiday with family or friends. It caters for all.

Came back from Australia and all their lovely beaches, went for a walk to Tramore Beach and must say it is as good if not better than Australias best. (Weather Excluded.) you can walk around the sand dunes which id say is about 8 or 9 Km. Just Great.

Seems cleaner than usual! Although a beach is a beach, not much the locals can do with it really. Great facilities nearby and protective railings

Doesn't matter what time of the year you take a walk down the beach or prom, it's a beautiful spot. Perfect to clear the head, take in the scenery and catch a bit of exercise on the way. A must for all.

Tramore beach is about 3kms of beautiful golden sand.Great for surfing and extremely scenic. The sandy beach is great for kids - making sandcastles etc. You can walk down the strand and return on the back strand giving a lovely walk of about 5km for adults. The main promenade area is patrolled by lifeguards and there is a lifeguard station... More
