Tramore beach is excellent place for long walk towards the sandy dunes with spouse, but preferably in good weather. Fresh air and beautiful sea view. Really enjoyable time.

Wow, what a view & what a beach. Once the tide goes out, you could literally walk for miles (3, I think) Plenty of parking which is free out of season (November to April). Lots of little beach bars and cafes And the local area...More

We spent only one hour on this beach but we'll never forget its vastness and wonderful sea view, seagulls, dogs, horses, surfers...

Tramore beach is a wonderful stretch of sand, ideal for a brisk walk. One end has rock pools for children to play in at low tide, and a vast expanse of sand to walk along to blow the cobwebs away. The stunning scenery certainly helps.

Walk, jog, swim, surfing & kite-surfing... have a lunch or a coffee in one of many restaurants or just bring kids for amusement park and arcades... something for everybody in clean and friendly environment. During summer the place can be overwhelmed with tourists and locals...More

Dirty, filthy and old fashioned. Whatever encourages people to come here is beyond me. The newer restaurants mixed with the dodge amusements & arcades just doesn't work.

The beach is well worth a visit. Its tidal so changes during the day. A great walk, lots to do, plenty of places to eat. Take a walk up town as well to get a look at the real Tramore
