We visited the Cavan County Museum this afternoon. A fantastic museum well laid out and informative covers many years from early ice age ... in particular the World War I trenches and 1916 commemorative facade. Only 15 minutes outside Cavan Town in Ballyjamesduff.

We paid €5 for adult ticket. It was in June. Unbelievably good value for the quality of the museum.
