Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very interesting. The staff who flew the birds was very knowledgeable and answered children's questions very happily. Those who asked questions got a chance to hold the bird on a gloved hand

We came here for the birds but it's worth mentioning that there is also caves (part of the ticket) and cheese/farm shop on the spot - so you can actually spend here some time but also a lot of time, depending on your interests

TIP: We made sure to come to the Centre for the bird show that takes place twice a day - it's a fun and educating, and quite interactive, experience and people all seemed to enjoy it a lot - without the show I wouldn't necessarily push for it unless you absolutely love birds and want to read about them/see live ones in the cages/rooms.

Great show and very educational for all , without being boring. Staff were great and kids loved it. They also allow most of the kids to hold the birds also (if they want)

After visiting the caves, our admission price included the Birds of Prey exhibit. Well worth the extra fee. The displays and the demonstration were well put on with entertaining speakers and close up and personal interactions with several birds.

The Birds of Prey show was terrific! The birds swoop over the crowd and on to their perches and give everyone a great view. The talk was interesting and informative with audience involvement encouraged. The demo involved a hawk for the first half and then a Snowy Owl. We learned interesting things about their excellent vision, especially in the ultraviolet range.

The birds of prey demonstration was awesome. The falconers/educators were great with the birds, the crowd and the kids. Funny, knowledgeable and professional. An excellent learning experience for young and old.

After the demo, I did the hawk walk with Gavin and the Harris Hawk, Sinead. I was a bit nervous before starting, and that feeling quickly dissipated. I loved walking with her and learning more about birds and their habits. If you are thinking about it, go for it. The funds go to help conservation and the experience is pure magic.

Having a hawk land on your hand is a unique and memorable experience. We stayed for the birds of prey show. The caves are fantastic as well.
Plenty of unique local produce available as well as souvenirs.
Great place

Have done a couple of other visits to birds of prey centers, this one stands out, did the walking hawk tour, highlight of trip to area. Traveling w 14 yr old son who is knowledgeable about the creatures and he was enchanted. Great guide and beautiful setting. Didn't spend much time in the center it self, but it appeared nicely done.

Such a valuable experience! Every time I visit, I learn something new. This time was no exception. Instead of a Hawk Walk, which I do heartily recommend, I 'adopted' one of the birds and was privileged to have a few minutes of private flying time with my adoptee.
The falconers are quite professional and show true caring and respect for the birds they handle.

I have donated to the WWF for the preservation of endangered species for years, and now truly wish all of those monies could have been donated to this centre. They do such amazing work, and are provided such a valuable function!

Do visit if you are in the area of the Burren, or, perhaps make a special trip!
