Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place to enjoy Irish traditional music and join a session if you are a musician. Authentic atmosphere and good Craig. Sean and Eoin who hosted the session are excellent musicians and found a good balance between playing driving Jigs and Reels for the audience, but also integrating slower musicians who are still struggling with the irish tempo like myself. I found myself welcome and supported - thanks for that Sean and Eoin.

If you are looking for a relaxing and fun evening with some live music this is a great place to visit. It provides a very welcoming atmosphere where the music gets everyone interacting with each other. We thoroughly enjoy coming here when we visit Ardara.

Loved this place the staff were so friendly and made us very welcome. Sat with the musicians and had a great chat over a great pint of Guinness. Would highly recommended for a warm Irish welcome.

We travelled all around Ireland in 2 weeks and this was our favourite pub stop! Owen was very welcoming and fun to chat with. We enjoyed his guitar playing and singing with his sidekick playing the fiddle at night. Also enjoyed chatting with the locals - true Irish hospitality!

Went here for the music, doesn't start till after 9:30 (or after the football, which ever is sooner), it was open mic night and the entertainment was great. Thoroughly recommend this place.

The owner Sean and his son Owen play guitar and banjo together and they are wonderful. Very inviting atmosphere and all singers and musicians are encouraged to join in.

Today was my birthday and the 10 of us had a great time listening to Irish folk music and talking to the locals. You have to come before 10 pm otherwise the space to sit can be rather scarce. The barman Cathal was really nice and witty. Fair play to him for looking after us.
