Spectacular views but COVID markings need to be redone
Nov 2020 • Solo
A great amenity to have in South County Dublin. The views are spectacular looking across the bay. I try to do the walk as much as possible.

Recently I have noticed how the Covid markings on the footpath have slowly started to disappear. It’s undoubtedly from the amount of people doing the popular South Dublin walk.

I have emailed the local council and nobody has got back to me.

I think by not having it, people are less likely to social distance.

What a view.

Had a great walk around Killiney and Dalkey hills. Around by the obelisk and pyramid, the quarry, where we met a couple of people coming up the wall of quarry, the hard way. Fair play to them. Down to Hawk Cliff, people are swimming there.
Absolutely brilliant spot.
And into Dalkey for a coffee. What a great day.

We walked from Dalkey dart station to Killiney dart station over the hill. It's a tough walk but worth it for the amazing views over Dublin Bay.

The walk up Killiney Hill is fairly short and really easy. The views are magnificent both in daylight and at night. You'll feel revived and uplifted.

Walkers, dog lovers and fresh air enthusiasts - will love the many captivating views of sea, Wicklow Mountains, City, harbour and Dublin Mountains that are all on the one great walk in a handy loop. Every day offers a different view. Also has super coffee shop in Victoria Hill with delicious treats.

Wont be back
Oct 2019
food was lovely pity about the service, ordered a soup and a sandwich, some crisps arrived on the side ask were they gluten free, this seem to bother the staff as she had to go find out , once the tea arrived we asked for some milk and napkins , we got a loud tut off her - if this had of been done properly in the first place she wouldnt have made so much work for herself!!! when she finally returned with the milk this was slammed down on the table, such a shame this one member of staff brought the place down cause its in such a lovely location etc !

Great place to walk/hike
Sep 2019 • Couples
We hiked the trails twice during our stay. Close proximity to our hotel, the Fitzpatrick Castle. Beautiful views of the Irish Sea and monuments like the Obelisk and Whishing Tower
