You can't take pictures inside the cottage which is a shame but definitely worth the visit. €5 entrance fee for an adult. Lovely grounds.

Well worth seeing because of the detail and quirquiness of the cottage as well as the thinking behind the project. Wonderful, imaginative detail and a magnificent restoration success.

We walked from Cahir Castle to Swiss Cottage, there was a fairy trail along the way. The scenery was beautiful and we will do it again.

This property is the only example of the Cottage Orne style remaining in Ireland. A unique and beautifully restored property within Cahir Park. Guided tour explains history and details. A short trail connects to Cahir Castle.

A wonderful cottage and a must see while in Cahir. A nice easy walk from the parking area on a nice day will bring you to this pretty place. Well maintained thatched roofed house with lovely appointments and lawn and gardens.
