Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Passing through Cahir I seen the signs for the market, at a quick count there was 8 -10 stalls. Plenty of home baking, plants, knitting, fish and wooden goods, Could possibly do with more stalls for selection, I only left with a Beautiful hand crafted and hand painted wooden mushroom fairy house. The market is set in the carpark beside Cahir Catle with a beautiful river and park area beside it, with the river holding court to approx 20 swans! So a beautiful setting if you had time to spent.

The location of this market in the castle car park is wonderful. It is quite small though, only a handful of stalls offering cheese, baked goods, eggs, veg and wooden bowls. A bit more variety would add to this market.

So worth visiting. Lovely selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. Cakes, and buns too, plus coffee and teas available. Fresh fish on sale also and various crafts. Prices reasonable. Support local initiatives.

The market was in full swing when I visited today. Not too many stalls but an interesting selection from carved wooden designs to baked goods - there is something for everyone.

Stopped in here passing through Cahir and bought some absolutely delicious Apple Juice that is produced locally between Cahir & Clonmel.

The market is small but the items on display seem to be of good quality and the traders seem friendly too.
