It is marvellous. Tour guide was probably one of the best I have ever heard - informative without overkill, and well able to answer extremely weird questions put by some other visitors. But I felt I knew the previous inhabitants, and had had a glimpse...More

Thoroughly enjoyed, even during a heavy rain. The house tour was outstanding and the guide had a impressive depth of knowledge and love for this home. The fog lifted briefly, so managed to see the stunning views of the old tower. I'd return on a...More

We took the ferry over and on the way spotted several seals!! The island itself is truly stunning, the gardens and architecture are amazing. We had no problem spending almost a day exploring before finishing off with a cuppa in the delightful coffee shop.

Had a great trip out to the island. Well worth a trip. The views from the tower were well worth the climb up it! It's a great experience for young and old. Just bring the walking shoes and camera!
